LeeMom, I'm sorry to hear this. I'm sure your son is devastated to go this far and not make it. Just remember that everything happens for a reason. God must have some special plans for your sailor. Stay positive for him.

Our son will also be graduating from Power Scool on this date.....We will be coming in from the Cincinnati area. Can't wait! We will be arriving on Thursday and staying for a week. There will be 6 of us total.....We are all very excited!

I am a Private-Duty Nurse. I love to quilt when I have time. I'm active with our church. I love my Family. Zachary is my only child, I also have 3 wonderful step-children. I miss him something terrible. I am now an empty-nester. I am incredibly proud of him and know that he is where God wants him.

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Said “No way!”
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
It's very hard to not see him or talk to him like I can with my other children. I miss him so much. He's been in for a little while now and I still miss him. I just keep myself busy and try hard not to call him so much or it seems to irritate him. If he only knew how much I really miss him. He's on my mind thruout each day.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was the best decision he/she could have made

We had a great holiday. Hope you all did too. Glenn is doing very well, lots of hard work for them there, but you know that. He's lost a few friends to bad grades, they either left, or were sent back a few weeks. I guess that happens quite a bit though. How is Zach doing?

Sorry to hear about no electric, that sucks. We have been really sick since getting home. Glenn likes it a lot. He said his roommate is cool. He's in 3rd phase of school. Glenn's just ready to get started. Can't wait to get down there and see him again, as long as he's not sick this time. LOL

It was nice to meet you and your husband. We had an amazing time. Glenn was so excited to see us, and us him. I wished we would have had better weather, but the visiting was great. I hate the goodbyes though. Soon he'll have a phone, and can call us. How was your visit?

Looks like we are the last to go to bs. Keeping my fingers crossed. We will be leaving tomorrow, finally. Some of my family called earlier, they are already at the hotel. They want to do some sight seeing before PIR. See you Thursday.

I'm so ready. I've been packing today, now my husband and son have to pack and we'll be all ready. I'm going nuts, seeing everyone going through bs, and our boys are last. I hate waiting. Maybe your shirt will come tomorrow. I hope Chicago is ready for all of us. LOL

Hopefully your shirt will come Mon. or Tues. If I hear from Glenn I will tell him to tell Zach to call your cell. He probably will if he doesn't get you at home. I can't wait to meet you either. Maybe the boys will be together in SC. I'm taking a few things for Glenn, some banana bread, fudge, and some drinks he likes. I'll get him almost anything he wants when we see him.LOL I should talk to you at least one more time before we go, if not have a safe trip, and we'll talk in person soon!!!

I'm packing tomorrow, because Tuesday I'll be busy, and then we leave Wed. afternoon. I see a lot of the other divs got to call, that would have been nice. As long as we hear some good news on Thurs. I'll be good. We will be close to great lakes probably before we even receive his call.

Glenn didn't say if that was the last letter. If he does write I won't get it til we get back. I get letters on Thurs. and we leave on Wed. 3 days, for us to leave. Yeah!! I hope they had some fun yesterday with their Captains Cup, even if they didn't win.

We survived. Just got a lot of rain, and some wind. Only 1 tree limb came down, and it isn't very big. We leave in 4 days.
