OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Sheila I feel your pain, hope you received a letter by now, but I haven't. I think he should have received some of my letters by now. I even placed self address, stamped envelope for him to write back. (smile) Being proactive! hahahaha. Trying to figure out where to stay and how to get there now. Flights are so much, but I will do whatever I have to, fly, drive, take the train. Already told my instructor (nursing school) that I will be missing at least 2 days.
