I hope your son is adjusting better now. The weather here is a lot different than Wisconsin. Lots of rain and grey cloudy days. We actually just got some snow. Not a lot of snow, but lots of ice. I don't know where to get a good used car. Craigslist is always an option but there's a lot of junk and dishonest sellers out there. My daughter is still in GL and will probably be there until early 2012. I miss her like crazy!!!

Hi, unfortunately my son is no longer in Ship 11 Div 298. I just found out he is on medical hold for a stress frature in his heel. I had already made hotel arrangements, but I am able to cancel up to 24 hrs in advance. I was just looking forward to that extra day with him. Now I have to wait another two, three, or maybe even a month later to see him at his graduation. Best wishes to you and your sailor!

It is nice to be in touch with someone that has the same division. Our family is in Atlanta GA. We are still awaiting our first letter from our Son. Please let me know if you get any word from your Recruit.

Hi there! I am from a small town south of Houston. This is a very emotional time - I hope you have a good support system in place. Unfortunately - it is just me now. I am having some issues dealing with him being gone, but I know it is the best thing for him and that makes it easier. My son is going into the Nuke program. What about yours?
