Hi Dorothy- My son called yesterday (Saturday) but unfortunately we were up in the mountains where there was no cell phone service. I'm really bummed that I missed his call. He sounded bummed too. I know they are going into Hell Week this week...I hope that things go well for them. From what I've been hearing, it sounds as if they are NOT grad and go and they will have liberty through the weekend. That would be nice! We're staying at the Ramada --here's there website. From what I hear, it's a pretty good place to stay. www.ramadainnwaukegan-gurnee.com/egan. Here's my email if you'd like to talk: marstar694@msn.com

Gosh... I must've misunderstood my son. I thought he said they could only write on Sundays but received letters on Tues/Fridays. Can't figure this stuff all out??? I've only received one letter so far but am expecting one tomorrow. He didn't say too much in the last letter because he was trying to write to me, his sister, and girlfriend in such a limited amount of time. I'm hoping I get more details this time. Maybe we can share general info that they write so that we are both up-to -date on everything. Did you get your airline tickets? Have you booked a room for graduation? Have you heard anything about whether they are grad & go (or if they will have some time after graduation to spend with family??

Hey Dorothy-- I got one letter from him last week but a call on Sunday (he wished my daughter a happy 16th birthday--she was thrilled to hear from him). He said that they only get letters on Tues and Fridays...is that what your son told you?? We got $175 tickets from Denver but they just dropped to $158. I was thinking that they wouldv'e started going up in price since it's getting closer to Labor Day but noooo...I'm just glad I didn't pay the $213 price they were asking earlier last week.
