OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Praying for you and your family, and whatever the news was that you received yesterday.  So very sorry....there are lots of ladies on the PIR page concerned for you.  Until we hear from you again, please know you are being prayed for fervently!

Elizabeth, I'm not sure what is going on, but am sure that it is not good if you are needing to contact the Red Cross. I know that few of us on here know each other personally but we have been brought together because we have a common bond of loving our sons and daughters and in turn those our children are serving with and their families. Our family lost a child, our 19 year old son, last October in an automobile accident. I am praying that what you are going thru right now is not like that, but regardless, we are here to love and support you, even if from a distance. Prayers are being uplifted for your family across the U.S. Tonight. Please know that you are not alone.
