Louann I just read your news about yours husband today.  I pray that all goes well with him, and I pray that God keeps you and your family strong.  I pray that you all have great doctors and an even better support system.

Thanks for the prayer's. How is your son, and where is he in A school? Did you all get to spend time with him the weekend of PIR? I received Ariel's pictures, dvd and Keel. At least she get's to have keepsakes from bootcamp with her division. Hopefully we'll hear good news soon. She only has to complete the final run and BS, and then she'll move across the street for A School. What's your son's name? It's so funny to hear her talk about the other sailors, because they only use their last names. She said her name was called so much during bootcamp It felt odd when she didn't hear it called:). I don't know the policy for giving addresses on this website, but if you go to FB my page is Teri Harper from Pearland, Texas.

We are planning on travelling to the graduation also. Stay strong and let's keep sending up our Prayer petitions on behalf of our sailor recruits so they are able to graduate with their group.

Good morning Louann, I received a call from my daughter who reports she did not pass the final run of the pfa, and she is scheduled to run again today. If she passes the run today she will go to BS also on Thursday also. Did your son say if you all could visit him if he gets to go to BS Thursday and pass? What are your plans for travel? I'm confused. I've made travel arrangements for my family of four to fly to Chicago from Houston. I'm still praying and believing our sailor recruits will still graduate on 10/01/10 as planned. I remember reading this happened to another mom on this site.

Hi Louann,
This is so hard, graduation cannot come quickly enough for me. I am supposed to stay at the Ramada, but I tried to check on my reservation tonight and it said I had the wrong confirmation number, so I will try again tomorrow. Now my son will probably be grad and go-oh well, we'll just have to wait. Talk to you soon. Sandy

Louann,
My name is Sandy. I am from Pendleton, Oregon. I am married, my recruit son is 19, and I have 3 more teenagers at home. Look forward to meeting you. I am trying to come in on Wed. since I usually end up with a delay somewhere when I travel and there is no room for delays if I wait 'til Thursday. Thankfully my folks gave me some money to go to grad!
