HI Palgal:  Are you planning to attend the meet and greet Thursday night before the graduation? If so be sure to RSVP. I will be coming with my husband, daughter and mother. I looki forward to meeting everyone. How old is your son?  My son has made friends, their first initials are A, K and S. He makes friends really easy so he may have made more by now. Where do you live?  We are only 1 hour away from Great Lakes (west of the GL).
yes we are attending meet and greet . I will be with my husband and teenage daughter no my son name doesn't start with those initials. by the way I found my navy blue scarf at PayLess shoe store my daughter and I will both be wearing ours. We live 8 hours away from GL .My son is 20 .
Clearance! a.n.a® Fisherman Cable Scarf at JC Penneys is on sale for 5.99 and division 140 and its sister division are wearing navy blue. It is a bit lighter, but I am ordering it for me, anyone else in?

I will do that tomorrow. Thanks for the tip.

Hi Christine: Oh not a problem.  I have been reading up on the battlestation. I should receive a letter from my son tomorrow so hopefully he will give me some more info.  No I did not hear about the heat going out...wow.  We are about 1 hour away and I do remember we had some pretty strong storms with lightening and then we would have snow flurries...real wierd.
I did hear from someone who's husband in in the same div that they get to write three times a week, not just on Sundays. Might be due to good behavior.  I am now more excited for the letter from him.  That is great you found a card to send.  I need to find a navy blue scarf...once I feel good enough I need to do some shopping.
My son too is on Ship 9 Division 139. If anyone else is on that one please let me know so we can get to know one another.

Hi Lamarmama:

I received a letter from my son today so excited. He is still very upbeat. He passed all inspections with 100% and did over and beyond on the personal physical assessment test.  He said RDC was very proud of him.  The letter was not really long but very upbeat.

When you get a letter from your son, let me know how he is doing.

I will let you know what his next one says for sure. I know your very proud of your son. Not many days left thank goodness.
hello Lamarmama: are you going to the meet and greet thursday night?... my son is also on ship 9 div 139... my son's name starts with a T and we are from Maryland... what does your son's name start with and where are you from?... i would like to ask my son if he knows him... we are getting so much closer to graduation!!... i am getting so excited to see him... i get a lot of letters now, and he told me that his mail is coming a lot faster to him now too... the first couple of letters from him - he kept asking us to write more to him and i knew that we were writing alot to him... lol... anyway, can't wait to hear from you...
my son is on Ship 9 Div 139 also are you going to the meet and greet.I am getting so excited my son finally called and passed his run I have been so nervous .

I am so glad you got a call and he passed his test

I will try to make meet and greet. we fly in Midway at 3:40pm, got a car rented and then drive up and hopefully will have energy to go. See you at PIR for sure.

Good Morning:  That is great news!  Our guys just continue to make us so proud.  I was nervous about the confidence chamber and now it is overwith.  Did you get a call from your son?  I did get a call yesterday, was not expecting that but we had a nice long talk.  Thats great they are rewarded with phone calls for doing good work. I can't believe less than 2 weeks.  So my son said Battlestation is Thursday and we should expect a call mid afternoon Friday.  Should be the "Sailor" call.  YES! I will be able to breathe once I get that call. OHh not sure if you know but some ladies as well as myself have had problems trying to find a navy blue scarf, so we are finding navy blue bandanna that we are tying on our purse so just a suggestion to you if you have the same problem of finding a scarf.
