OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I LOVE reading everyone's stories about graduation! At this point in "our" training, my eyes tear up just even thinking about the possibility of graduation! (Please, Lord!) I also love my embroidery machine and enjoy finding creative ways to use it! I've heard it said that tissues come in very handy during the graduation ceremony and I've made myself a "tissue packet holder" to commemorate this momentous event in our family's life! Would anyone else like to have one? I think that $10 would cover the cost of materials AND postage. I feel a little funny "hawking wares" and yet I want to share something special with y'all too to remember this very special and rare event! I am so proud of these men; their dedication, strength, focus, skill and courage is beyond amazing! I am in awe of these guys! (And to think that one of them shares my DNA!) wow.
