Hi Suzy...My sailor from this adoption is still there and has actually been asked to stay another 6-10 months, so I know the group is still there.  I can ask him if he knows of anyone who is in need of mail or is in need of special "mom" love and care.

Thanks for adding the information. Not many of us heard back from this group to know if they were still there.

Thank you!  I am happy to "adopt"...I have a group of Sailors who have just informed me they are heading home!  I am so happy for them but will "miss" them!

Okay !!! I am going crazy reading everything...HOW DO YOU DO THIS...HOW COULD I HELP!! SHIP A LETTER OR PACKAGE OR ADOPT A SAILOR...MY SALIOR IS IN THE USS MAKIN...BUT WHERE IS THE ADOPTED SALIOR LIST? MY CHURCH IS DOING CARE PACKAGES...FOR FEBRUARY I BELIEVE..I WILL FIND OUT WHEN THEY ARE BEING SENT. AND PUT THEIR NAMES (ABUNDANT LIFE CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP OF MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA).

Joan, The names and addresses are in the "MAS We Ship Love" room. You have to request to join but I will approve you as soon as I see the request. Apparently they have been extended 6-10 months. Pat

I asked my adopted boy from here (they are Army) if anyone still needs mail.  He didn't answer back, but he's not always too communicative.  I"m guessing they are doing ok with mail by now.  Not all of them are extending; just those who want to.
