For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

My daughter was impressed with things that I knew and I told her it was due to this N4M and all the great moms that we have helping us out!!!! Such an uplifting day!!!!

Does anyone know anything about care packages. My daughter said that they can receive care packages. Just not certain as what could be sent. She did ask for her make up and contacts.

Finally got letters today. Some were written 4 days after my recruit arrived 3/20/13. I am so happy. There are a few things she doesn't like but overall she is happy and doing well. Thank you Lord!

I also got a letter today from my son. I was lucky to get this one letter. He is the yeoman for this division and he is so busy that he barely has time to practice for inspections or study and the only time he had to himself was the time to write me a letter. A two page letter which is very impressive. He said his shipmates are cool and the RDC's are chill during PT time. They get IT'd daily but he said it's not that bad. It's the mental part that's rough. He said so much more, but I just am so happy to finally get a letter and knowing how he truely feels and it's all normal and good. Take care bonita and enjoy your daughter's letters :)

would be wonderful to hear my daughter voice today I miss her so much. I run to mailbox daily for more updates but nothing like the sound of their voice :) Missing her today some kinda bad :(
