Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 927

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I'm so happy to hear everyone has been getting their calls, my brother called me yesterday and it definitely made my day, I had no idea he would call, thought for sure he would have called my parents if he got the chance for calls (but I think he knows how much I miss him!) It was only a 5 min call, but he sounded so good, getting better from being sick. He was so happy and proud he has passed all of his tests and inspections, and he said he ranked up this week! He likes all of the guys in his division and sounds like they are getting the hang of this thing! I told him how proud I am of him! We are almost 7 years apart, so I have a motherly tendency with him! :) So proud and in awe of how great he is doing!

Got a letter today!! It was only a page, as he said they are working a lot more now, he said the weather is really cold! He was amazed that he could see his breath during the day! Lol! We're from southern California, so it is quite a change! He wanted me to look up some sports and news for him, so I printed out some things and sent them off! I love getting letters!! :) Makes my whole week!

Hello,

Happy Easter to our Loved ones at Boot Camp and Everyone supporting them.

God Bless........

Hi ladies.. yes, I too receive a letter every week... and the last one said, his hair cut is "fresh" hahaha... cannot wait to hug the stuffing out of that boy!

I received my letter today as well! Pretty much got the same info as you wrote above. My brother said he scored perfect 5.0 on all inspections as well! And said they have earned flags for almost everything they have done! I'm excited to watch the PIR tomorrow, my brother told me where he would be, so I'm hoping I catch that glimpse before I have to head off to work!

Does anyone know, if I should reply to the Sarge's Meet and Greet page to let them know how many of us will be going? We have already been in contact with Sarge and we are using his shuttle service to pick us up from the airport and we told him we were going to the Meet and Greet, just not sure if anyone on here needs to know as well?

anyone get any phone calls today?

Unfortunately no we did not.

Failed to post yesterday, but we did receive the call...Monkey Boy is a Sailor :)

We're flying out tomorrow, hope to see many of you at Sarges Meet and Greet and then of course at the PIR on Friday. I'll be sitting in our division seats next to my husband who'll be in full navy uniform (don't think there are any other parents or loved ones attending in our division who are active or retired) along with two beautiful young ladies.

Safe travels to all.
