OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 023 and 024

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Of course! This is all new!! Just know if she was going to be held back she would call you to tell you just that. That's what I like about this site, lots of info floating out there for us new moms!!
How's everyone doing today? I just watched this video on bootcamp and it really helped me understand some of the things our SR's are going through. If you haven't watched it and are able, I think you'll be encouraged as well. We are almost there! Keep the prayers coming and letters too. Here's the link I got from this site: http://youtu.be/cQXXnMpJ6Ws.
Praying for each of you! God bless you. Zephaniah 3:17
I feel you, our daughter made her second call this past Saturday we were so excited to hear from het cause we missed her call the last time. I could not stop apologizing but she sounded well. She can't wait to graduate. Hang in there moms, I'm right there with you.
Anyone going to be able to attend Sarge's Meet and Greet?
I am! I already RSVP'd :)
Yay!! I am hoping to make a centerpiece to put on the table as others do this sometimes, just trying to figure out what to make since we are flying and I have to follow security guidelines. I have a few ideas. Hopefully we could all sit together!!
Welcome aboard!! I randomly found out about the meet and greet while my daughter was still in DEP. Google Sarge's Meet and Greet and you should be able to find link. I will look again and try to post it.
