I don't monitor everything, but I do receive emails for replies within discussions like this one that I have replied in before.

I am glad to be of help.

Not sure what the 122-1 is, but probably in the same group.  My son's name is Tristan When I got the Letter yesterday, I was hoping he would have been able to write me a note, But no note, So it was a little disappointing,  I am excited to look forward to the PIR and have already made my hotel reservations at the Navy Lodge.  Now I am looking for some decent price airline tickets.

I received my packet today and yes it is 122. I felt better after reading through the info. Can't wait till I get a letter. How many days did you book at the navy lodge?

jentel, since your then Sailor will most likely fly out the day after PIR, plan to leave late Saturday or on Sunday. See PIR Day and Liberty during PIR Weekend to help you know how to plan your weekend.

Do they tell us their actual ship date before graduation so we know if they fly out Saturday or Sunday. Also are they able to hang out with us on Saturday?

jentel, most will fly out on Saturday. Some going to Pensacola as your then Sailor will MAY fly out on Sunday (it doesn't happen often, but it does happen every now and then). Your Sailor will not get his orders and flight itinerary until very close to PIR; some get them the morning of PIR. Plan to leave late Saturday or on Sunday. You can hang out with him at the airport on Saturday (if he has a late flight, then he MAY be able to leave the airport, but that depends on what he is told at the airport). See PIR Day and Liberty during PIR Weekend.

17th thru 21 fly home Monday

I received my sons address two days ago as well from his recruiter but nothing in the mail yet. It's nice to have a fellow mom who's son is in the same division. It's going to be a tough 8 weeks

jentel, I left info for you on your My Page.

Beth, check your My Page.

My son is in the same division as your sons. would love to meet you all

wanda72, check your My Page.
