For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Prayers for him, Logan's mom. He is just about to the turning point of bc, by the way, where they finally realize that they CAN do things right and they have PIR in their sites! It becomes more exciting at the end...still challenging, but they realize that they are DOING it. So look for more upbeat letters/calls soon..... he is being prayed for daily!

Speaking on behalf of Sandi and myself, a prayer would be great for Jason. He is really missing his family right now and i just pray every night that he has a strong mind as well as the confiedense to get himself through this. When it comes down to it i know that Jason would want me to add everyone else in the company that is not as lucky to have someone writting letters to or even praying for.
All you moms out there are wonderful to give eachother support as well as your sons and daughters.

Appreciate prayer for my sailor B. My big concern is when he does the gas chamber. And working with fire. He has asthma, which was pretty servere growing up. Spent several trips to the hospital. His asthma is mostly allergy triggered. He is allergic to just about everything, cats, dogs, grass, trees, mold, dust, and on and on. He keeps assuring me he will be fine.
But you know when you have seen your child unable to breathe due to an attack, well you cant help but worry and be concerned.

I have to ask if you all say prayers for my husband, and of course for my sailor. My husband has diabetes and is having complications with it. I really need him, he said if he wasn't feeling better he wouldn't be able to go to the graduation. I have never been any where by myself. I really need him to be there and of course my son would want him to be there also.I havent said anything to my son, I dont want to worry him but I am worried for both. I hope no one minds me asking.

We have a great band of prayer warriors in my community...all SR's are on their lists! I am asking prayers for my husband as well...as some of you know he had severe complications from a surgery the first of September...he is much improved but only recently home from the 3rd unexpected hospital stay since then. We have 3 weeks to get him travel ready...seeming like it will take a miracle at this point. Our boy doesn't know how serious things have been...spared him the details for now...he will be so disappointed if Dad can't be there for PIR. I am feeling for you Diana...

Can you all pray for my husband? He's in boot camp and I just got his letter saying he has a ear and sinus infection. We are both hoping that it doesn't delay graduation!!

lizbear...prayers headed up for your hubby! My son had an ear infection a couple weeks ago when he called home...I panicked! He said no big deal..they just put him on light duty for a few days with antibiotics and he is still on track for PIR!
