Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 059 and 060.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello! my SR is Div 060 anyone else?

My daughter is in Ship 03 Div 060. We have gotten quite a few letters and one phone call. It was really a relief to hear from her.  I was wondering if anyone knows, if we bring presents (Christmas gift) to PIR, can they take them them to A-school with them.We got her an Ipad to keep in touch and so she would be able to email and such. Just wondering. Thanks.

I was told right after PIR they still have to go back to barracks to pack so they cant take anything back with them but once they are out of there they can? double check on that though

Lisa

Our son is in ship 03 Div 060 too.  We also have gotten quite a few letters and one phone call as well.  He is under the impression he would have the weekend with us (PIR 1-18-13) but everything I'm reading, we will be lucky by a few hours.  It's hard to believe graduation is right before us.  Any idea when we get the envelope with all the graduation information?  What will your daughter be going to "A" school for?

My niece is in Div 60. We have only gotten 1 letter from her so far and no phone calls yet. Hoping I get one soon.

Welcome!
My daughter is Ship 03 Div 059... So, how are you doing? Have you heard from your recruit?
Jeanette

Hey Jeanette:

Are you going to be attending any of the M&G?

Christy

I want to, but not sure which one! What about you?
Hi. Nette. The meet and greet sounds good.

Jeanette,

Hello my daughter is also Ship 03 Div 059. Her name is SR Amber Repp. The last 7 weeks have only been filled with letters from her and 1 phone call where I could actually talk to her. I miss hearing her voice everyday, but I am so looking forward to seeing her next friday the 18th. She stated that they would be calling today after battleships in the letter I received today. Hopefully we will hear from them 1 last time before PIR.

Crystal

You should hear from her any time now.  Ship 03 Div 059 are making phone calls now.

Hi all! Just heard from my daughter! She is hating it,but doing fine... They are on 2-5 day today... Will be 3-1 day tomorrow. Getting excited about seeing her in Jan! BTW Mom, she got your letter, was really happy that you'll be at her graduation too!
