For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I got in touch with the group rate guy at Moody Garden's (former Navy helicopter pilot in Vietnam). Another contract to sign!! AARRGH!!
I just signed to give Moody Garden's $420!!!!
We HAVE to have 20 people show up who want to do 4 attractions for $21 total.
PLEASE BRING CASH - I have to give him one envelope with ALL the money in it - no credit or debit cards allowed!!!

We are headed to Galveston on Saturday. Thinking about meeting at a place right off the highway (from Houston) in Galveston called "The Diner". You can eat breakfast or drink coffee. Then, headed as a group to Moody Gardens - to get a group discount we have to enter together.!!
Bring all your friends and family - especially to Galvestion!! Only people who have RSVP's will get a name tag!!!

Thanks for changing the reservations to open seating and open menu, we will be there with bell on. Will be three of us on Sat. for Moody Gardens. Great rate for Moody Gardens. Needless to say we are pinching pennys since we leave the following Wednesday for PIR and will be there 5 days.

Kay, Brenda is on the road. We felt that the menu and choice was to high if we had a ROOM. But if we make reservations out in the open part, people can order only what they want and pay for on the entire menu and not be limited. One person can have a hamburger and the next lobster if they want. We felt the imortant thing was just to meet. She is on her way to Kemah now to make reservations for a table of 16. If you are coming let me know and I will call her

Just to confirm, I will definitely have 2 attending, my other daughter won't know until last minute, but she's a definite NO for saturday. Can't wait! It's worth taking the PTO from work! lol
