I sent it out to people at my work and my husbands, hoping I could get others to donate letters and supplies requested. One woman will be coming with me to help do the packing she was very excited to help with this as well.

Got it! Thanks!

Linda, We will pack for both groups. You just purchase the items you choose and bring them to the party. There are 776 members of "Molly's Adopt A Sailor" so we don't have to worry about doing the whole job by ourselves! The rules for the Pepsi grant money we received is that postage will be paid only to packing parties. By not having to pay $12.50 per box for postage we free up our money to buy more things that the troops request.

OK, I should have gone to the MAS page and discussion first. I now feel enlightened. Everyone on MAS is helping support these 2 groups, right?

Just jumping on the dense bandwagon here since I've never done this before, are we packing for both groups or just one? And how are just the 9 or so of us going to buy enough stuff for 444 soldiers and marines plus 2 schools? Are there other groups sending to these same groups?

micheles3 - who did you distribute the list to?
Comment by micheles3 on October 6, 2010 at 2:30pm
Thank you for the help in understanding. See you all on the 23rd. I am very excited and have distributed this list. Hopefully I can get others to help.
