Merry Christmas everyone and enjoy your time with your sailors!! I'm here in Oklahoma with my officer daughter, but it's a very sad time for her.  When she came home from her deployment her husband announced he didn't love her anymore and wanted a divorce. He had been planning this whole thing while she was deployed and then moved out one week before Christmas!! She knew he was unhappy but she was trying everything to fix their problems because divorce was never an option in her mind.  She's just so brokenhearted that he didn't want to try to work things out. Please say some prayers for her to get through this.  Now my hubby and I are going to have to move into her house to help take care of her pets this next year of deployments until she transfers to a shore tour. Such an adjustment for all - hubby and I are not dog people and she has 3!!!!!

Merry Christmas Friends!

Every Christmas is different. This year we are in Virginia Beach with our Sailor and his beautiful wife who is expecting twins in March! What a present that will be! It is just fun to be with them and do everyday things with them.

It would be wonderful if every Christmas was like this. We know that is not always possible for everyone.
