DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Thank you for a wonderful experience for PIR 11-01-13! Now all I have to do is find another DOD lodge for San Antonio and Ft. Sam Houston!

Have I missed making reservations for 11/27 PIR?
Comment by wendy.from.oregon on October 28, 2013 at 11:24pm

Beverly...is it okay to make the reservation online under our own name, or do we need to put it under our SR's name?

Comment by beverly on October 28, 2013 at 8:55pm

There is no secured gate to pass through to get to Navy Lodge.  We are located in Forestal Village Base housing.  Navy Lodge does not provide a shuttle to the graduation.  We do have a list of taxi/shuttle services that we provide at checkin.
