Kaye - sorry but I won't be making it to dinner tonight after all. As you know I worked Saturday and am working today, and I'm really tired this afternoon. Must be the weather. Don't think I'd be good company, so I plan to head home after work and just take it easy. Have fun!

Dear Charlotte, ABSOLUTELY NOT can you pass this opportunity to spend time with your daughter!!! We other moms would KILL you if we found out you'd left her to be with us. So, savor every single minute you get to spend in GL and when you come next month, be sure to bring photos! Hugs and congratulations, k.

I was plannign to attend this dinner on Monday night, since my Sailor just graduated this weekend, we are still in GL since she will be here and has Liberty on Monday as well, we will be spending our Monday evening driving back home after a day with her. I hope to go to the next one. This is the second dinner I had planned to attend and have had to put the squash on but, but this one....... I cannot pass the opportunity up. GO NAVY!!!

Mary will be back in Texas by the 18th, but she sends everyone a hello. Her return is Saturday, January 16th. She is recovering from the surgery on her torn ACL quite well, and is as independent as ever; she actually drove herself to church this morning (only a mile from home), and did very well. I look forward to seeing everyone again since I missed the December dinner.

I will be attending alone. My son's been in the Navy for 3 years now and this is my first event. Looking forward to it.

Kaye, looks like my sailor will be joining us for the Jan. dinner :). There is also a young lady that leaves on the 20th for bootcamp that may be joining us with her family.

So is the date for this Friday? I thought it was for Monday and missed it? I would love to come if it is this Friday?

This will be the Monday after Tori's PIR so it may be a little emotional for me. Can't wait to share with everyone.
