Hi, I love Frankenmuth. My son leaves for bootcamp the end of this month and I still have alot of questions. It would be nice to get to know some other mom's. I will more than likely be able to attend.

Frankenmuth is only 30 minutes from my house. I will try to come but it depends on if we go to Alpena or not that weekend and I get back in time. We just bought a house there and are busy gutting the inside of it. But I would really like to be able to come.I'll know better when we get closer to the date and how the work on the house is going. Frankenmuth is one of my favorite places...with such bad memories. But the "bad chicken" we had was a long time ago and I'll put that in the past just so I can meet some of you. At this point it should be no problem. Chris will graduate from Corpsman A School July 16th Lord willing so the date will work just fine. Won't be able to shop much, have to save for graduation trip, but I can't wait to come. Will have to let you know if anyone else comes, that's up in the air yet. I'm sure my husband Floyd will. Have a great week. Ruth VH, Mom of Christopher.

I am really looking forward to meeting other mom's with sons in the Navy from Michigan. Whenever I have gone through tough times, I find it is so helpfull to reach out to people who understand and are going throught the same thing I am. I don't know if I will be bringing anyone with me, but I do plan to come my self.

I am hoping to attend, but with my son leaving May 6th, not sure how PIR will fall. So, I am tentative. If I can come, which I will update my RSVP as soon as is possible, my mom would come as well. She is also a Navy mom and after May 6th will be a Navy grandmother too.

I would LOVE to get together finally with some of you Michigan Moms & others. It sounds like a great idea and place. I haven't been to Frankenmuth since my oldest daughter was 1 year old. She is 26 now. I would love to bring along my mother, grandmother to our Sailor, if she is up from Florida by then. If not I might bring a sister or aunt. Shopping at the Outlet Mall would be fun too. Hope to see you all in June. God Bless you all!

Hello All, this is Linn (and family) in Lansing. My daughter is graduating from OCS on March 27th in Newport. I've added this little shindig to the calendar. I sure hope we (husband and I) can make it. Would love to meet other navy parents. Are there any other husbands coming??

Hi Sherry, Ya I know it is the first week of Summer but when we started this it was to be Spring and then everyone had weekend commitments as far as graduations and such so it just stretched into summer, but hay it is MICHIGAN - we could just be getting Spring by then. see you all in Frankenmuth....Paulette
