Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Event Description

NAVY FOR MOMS PIR 6/25 Meet and Greet for all family / friends who are attending PIR 06/25. Please RSVP so that the Ramada can have a head count for the number for people coming. You do not have to be staying at the hotel to attend. You would just meet in the bar at 6:00pm the Thursday before graduation. This will be the perfect time to meet everyone you have grown close to over the past 8 weeks.

CherylRmomof2- this is no problem for me at all. Actually it is fun.
Still not sure how many ribbons we should have. Enough for the Navy for Moms gang or should we have extra for those that don't know about our group? I have 100 now and if we need to do more, let me know. No problem.

hey ladies- I am doing the red, white, and blue support ribbons with a star clutch pin. Hope this is Ok?? How many do you think we will need? Anyone have any ideas? Let me know your thoughts.

Sounds like a plan- cause I was going to wear white anyway to the graduation!! I also have a t with Proud Navy Mom on there too- I might wear that to the meet & greet- I am getting so excited I could pee my pants!! LOL

I like the idea for what to wear to the meet and greet also the white for graduation with the ribbon. Do we wear just any navy blue t shirt to the meet and greet or are we going to order them from some where. I can't wait to meet everyone.
