OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Sorry ladies I am going to be on the road headed that way but not yet there! Due to work and friends wanting to see her, we are driving over Thursday evening. I wish you the best Meet and Greet ever. I hope I do get to see some of you at PIR.

Going to try and get a flight in early enough...shouldn't be a problem. Will be 3 of us..myself and the grandparents.
Comment by navywifebeth on July 13, 2010 at 7:30pm
There will be 3 of us, Me... and my two kids- 9 and 4. I don't know where we're staying yet. Hopefully I'll have it planned by early next week. Let me know what I can do to help. I know I'm not a mom, but thank you for letting me join. The Navy Wife websites just don't have this bootcamp group, cause there aren't many married men with kids joining. Thanks!

I just clicked on the RSVP link, but it didn't ask how many would be attending. There will be 3 of us.
