Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Our travel plans are now finalized and I can commit to the Meet N Greet. There will be four of us -- my husband and myself, and my sailor-recruit's two sisters. We are so excited this is so close now!

Driving up and have to make sure my sons girlfriend gets picked up at the airport that night at 7 so I'll have to see if Rob's dad can go pick the girlfriend up so I can be there for the whole thing. Can't wait!!!

CAN"T WAIT!! 17 more days!! I will be attending with my daughter Britany, my mother Jeanine and the kids dad Barry!! We are so excited to meet everybody and of course see our Sailors!! Yahoo!! :) We will be staying there at the Ramada!

Finally bought our plane tix. We are flying in to Milwaukee landing around 6:30p and will be driving down. It's not looking like I will be able to attend the M&G, but left it as "might be" just in case.
