OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Ladies, please if at all possible try to wear your Navy gear if you have a t-shirt, sweatshirt or what-have-yous. If not, perhaps a navy blue top would be great. Any photos of your sailors might be fun to share, does not matter if it's Navy or not. Could be high school or even better baby photos;>)

Also, we will have a special SURPRISE guess visiting with us so you may want to bring your cameras!! Sherry

Hi Metro Detroit moms, I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you this Saturday at Nello's Eatery. Since it will be an opportunity for a great group photo shot I'm asking that we all wear our Navy tops or a top that is navy colored for the group picture.

Also, please feel free to bring your photos of your Navy person to share with other moms.

Go Navy!! Go Navy for Moms!!
