OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Specific information on this policy change will be provided in the coming days and weeks.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your support.

RTC Graduation

**UPDATE 6/23/2022 - MASK MANDATE IS LIFTED -  Vaccinations still required

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Petaluma is a small town with a big heart. Sometimes Smaller is Better!

Look forward to meeting new  Moms and Dads!

Rain or shine it will be a beautiful day to celebrate Veterans and current service members.

We are planning on leaving early so we can get through the city before 19th gets too insane. Some time to enjoy beyond in the north. Thanks. I will look for a photo.

Nancy USS Boise, wonderful that you can make it to the MNG and the parade. $10 each is what we all will bring. Maybe an umbrella in case it does rain.

I sent meam a picture of my son in his uniform. Everyone would love to see your sailor in Uniform as well. You will not have to walk very far. The parking lot is right next to the Mail Depot. Arrive around 11 am at the latest. Streets close for the parade.

Are you looking for a picture of him in uniform?

Hi Nancy USS Boise,

You can pull right up to the door and to our seats. The parade will go on even if it rains. There is an overhang for protection plus we can sit inside and watch out the window.

Looking forward to talking Navy. You can send me a picture of your sailor to

We ARE going to be able to come. I realize we are very last minute, but I am just glad we can come. Let me know what I can bring/do to help!

Hi Cogur,

Could you resend me your picture? My copier chewed it up and I can't find it in my files.
