There are many taxi/shuttle services in the area.  If you call the Navy Lodge, a list of those service can be faxed, or emailed to you.  Thank you for choosing Navy Lodge Great Lakes!

We will be staying there for the PIR on Nov.8th, and are looking forward to getting into town.  We are coming in by train (Amtrak) and will be heading down to Great Lakes from Chicago the afternoon of the 7th.  Is there any kind of a shuttle provided from the hotel if we need a ride from the Metra station? I think we'll take the stop at Lake Bluff and go from there over to the hotel.  Any suggestions? thanks in advance!

We were at the Lodge for the 20th of September PIR, we enjoyed our stay immensely.  The rooms were nice, the staff very friendly, always saying hi and trying to see if we needed assistance.  Being close to the base is a big plus.  Being retired Navy myself I stay at Navy Lodges whenever one is close by when I travel.  Navy Lodge Great Lakes was one of the better stays we have had.  Thanks for making our PIR experience more enjoyable.
