Do I have to wait until a certain time before PIR before I can book?

For those concerned if your sailor assigned to A school at GL can visit, please see my photo of message I received this morning.

Thank you Beverly, so many conflicting reports. Hopefully we will get a call from our SR to put this all to rest. I have booked another hotel just in case things end up differently. Thanks again for your information.

The new Sailors are permitted to visit their family at the Navy Lodge, but not allowed to spend the night.  I have verified this information with the Command.

We are staying at the Navy Lodge, my son told us thru a letter that his "A" school is in Great Lakes my question is this: I have heard that the Navy does not allow your new sailor to visit this hotel if he is staying to go to "A" school. Is this true?? If so I will need to make reservations somewhere else. Please help
