OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey guys!! It's Lynn here.

I just sent an email about brining pillow cases and card bases, etc., for people to write on, color, etc.

Are we in need of donated (or I can purchase some) items so we have stuff to create at the booth during the Air Show!!

Someone let me know!!

Thanks for thinking of me, but I'm sorry I won't be able to make it out there.  We used to live out near the quad cities over 30 years ago (yikes has it been that long?!) so it wouldbe neat to visit again someday.

Lauren, I'm sure we can make arrangements for a table for the 22nd or sometime during Navy Week.  Let me know what you want to do.  I have a "Navy Families" banner I just ordered to use, plus we'll be with the Navy tables.

I think we can do anything we want.  I'm waiting to get the schedule of events for the week.  Armed Forces Day on May 22 would be a great day for this, too.  The public here is very supportive of the military.
