Event Description

Hello! The questions follow:

Which day do you prefer; Saturday (6/19) or Sunday (6/20)?

What do you eat; beef burgers, turkey burgers, veggie burgers, and/or hot dogs? I can purchase these and we can have a per person split. I will also pick up the charcoal and ice (including additional ice for our beverage tub).

Would you be willing to bring a dish to share, a beverage, AND one non-food item (i.e. disposable plates, cups, plastic ware, etc.)?

I am glad to hear so many are interested! Please tentatively post your RSVP and add family count in a post (if more than one attending). This will help me locate an accommodating location.

Hello all ~ There have been so many things to tend to and absorb that I have been going in all directions. So many! I am doing fine. We are all healthy - that is the important part. I am afraid that I have not been much support lately...guess I am just trying to take one day at a time. I have been doing some (more like a lot!) leg work for my son - as he has been active and will be for a while. I love my new position and co-workers - I love psychiatry! ...same employer just different service unit. Throw my elderly mom in the mix and I get mentally spent. I just took a dive today in our driveway. I was carrying a huge basket of toiletries and some new clothing items that I am donating to the outpatient mental health veterans, when I twisted my ankle and went down on the stone drive. My ankle is fine - just wounded knees. I guess it was my que to slow down. So I decided to come and check my Navy for Moms messages. : ) I can explain more when I see you.

We also need to reschedule!

Kathryn

MamaBear, don't stress about it! I would not be able to make it either. Daughter is coming home for the weekend - we are selling her car so that she can buy another one my sister found for her in Florida. So, I will be tied up all weekend. Hopefully, I will still be a Navy mom when the next event is planned :(

Hello MamaBear kk
I wouldn't mind if it was rescheduled. Maybe more would be able to attend.

Hello. First I would like to apologize for not being able to finalize the picnic. I have had many road blocks that have hindered my planning time. I should have passed this on sooner...or asked if it could be rescheduled. Currently, I am not sure I will be able to attend if it is this coming weekend. Does anyone have any thoughts? Suggestions?
Susan R Comment by Susan R on June 13, 2010 at 4:49pm
any final decision as to where and when for the picnic??
