OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Diane, I hope your situation changes as well. I can't wait to see you all here. We are on the downward slope, so to speak! For some its a slow ride down. For those that keep busy, its a steady ride down that slope! I am busy with our FFSG planning the homecoming and the night before party.

Hey Diane,
You were soooo happy & excited about making it to homecoming. Hoping & praying your situation changes and that you will be there on the pier greeting your son back home and having coffee with all the other moms too ( & wives).

Also, as the OMBUDSMAN, if any of you do not have someone to sponser you to get on the base, I can help you with that. I will need certain information from you in order to get you on the access list. The FFSG and I will be planning our homecoming and we will need a lot of help from everyone.
