Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

The Meet and Greet will be the Thursday night before PIR. It is free and is open to all ages. Drinks are available for purchase, but you are welcome to bring your own bottled soda or water. There will also be heavy appetizers. Do not expect these appetizers to fill you up, you will probably want to eat either before or after the event.

Please be sure to RSVP for the PIR 09/23/2011 Meet and Greet and to add comments! When you comment, please indicate how many will be attending. If you do not indicate a number, we will figure that you will be bringing one other person with you when we turn in the approximate numbers.
Those with loved ones in Divisions 315 and 316 will be wearing Red or Orange.
Those with loved ones in Divisions 317 and 318 will be wearing White or Light Gray.
Those with loved ones in Divisions 319 and 320 will be wearing Blue or Black.
Those with loved ones in Division 945 will be wearing Yellow or Tan.
Please do NOT buy something special for this if you don't already have something in one of the two colors. Wear something you have and go and look for the colors for the Division and enjoy yourself.
You do not need to be a member of the PIR 09/23/2011 TG 45 group on N4M to attend this event, but we would like to invite you to join the group so you can connect with others who have loved ones going through BC with your loved one.

My son and I just left the meet and greet. We had a wonderful time. Meeting the families from my son's Division was just great! It was a pleasure to talk to all of you.
Desiree...don't worry about the colors. It's just a guideline so we can find each other by division. I'm actually thinking about not wearing the specified color because I look crappy in red :)
