I am going to call and tell them the approx. number that has RSVP.  I will add a few extra just in case.  From my understanding that is all I needed to do.  If I hear of anything or you hear of anything please let me know      Thanks

They ladies, i have made it to Chicago and now hanging out in the hot tub at the Ramada Inn! I was just wondering if I need to get anything for the meet and greet tomorrow night?

They just posted a winter storm watch for the pocono area, I am just praying it doesn't  affect our flight and that all goes well getting there!

We'll come if we get there in time! Are children welcome to come as well? I have a 13 year old and a 9 year old....just making sure if it's "family friendly"!!

If you can make it to your Meet and Greet by all means go.  Mine was 3/11 and it was sooo wonderful meeting the parents and those here on Navy4Moms!!  Even though the conversations were brief, I thoroughly enjoyed this event with my family.  AND you may have an opportunity to have a few things to say about your sailor!!  More families attended than I expected, which is opposite of how these things usually go. I'm sure many of us send warmest regards and thanks to those behind the scene who worked at putting the Meet and Greet together!!!!hugs hugs hugs...what a great memory!!  Well worth the effort Ladies!!

When my other son gradated from the Marine boot camp everyone had red on (which was his platoons color) They sold shirts and sweatshirts with Bravo platoon  number---- on them and the bleachers were full of red. It was nice to see. My favortie sweatshirt has, "my son is a Marine" on the front and Bravo company with platoon number on the back. I was hoping to get one that that for this son, but the Navy seems to do it differently.

Debbie,

From my understanding the hotel has stuff to eat and if you want any drinks it is a cash bar.   Nothing else that I am aware of.  You are staying busy.  If I hear of anything else, I will let you know

Thanks
