Set up starts at 5.  I think there will be other volunteers from N4M's there to guide us along.  The more the merrier!  Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Sandy, do you think I need to stop and get more name tags?  Seems there might be as many as 150 people attending.

Penny - I called the Ramada Inn and the gentlemen who sent the kits.  The Ramada Inn said a different person from N4M's comes every Thursday to the event.  Its all volunteers!  Mr Lee said the same.  As for the items for sale, nobody knows for sure who that is.  Maybe a local N4M's group, with proceeds helping to benefit their cause.  Mr Lee suggested to carry on as we planned because again, it's just volunteers and it can and will be as fun as we make it.  I was afraid of stepping on toes but he said nothing is "official" so to have fun with it!

Hey Kathy, any idea who it is there to represent N4Ms and selling the stuff (whatever that is) and who gives out name tags or is that something that Sandy has in her kit?
Comment by Kathy Ship 11 Div 057 on January 23, 2011 at 7:05pm

hey penny..its about 150 folks n4m peeps only in that count of course..so many more to come i am sure.  oh here is some info i got from another mom that can be very helpful....and before i forget flags will arrive to erin at lodge tomorrow!  well they will be there but erin wont be there til weds lol

heres the info i got from another navy mom...

This isn't a come and go event. there is a start and stop time.  ..it starts at 6:00 p.m.....they have a table set up where you get a name tag and you can purchase N4M stuff and they also have a gift shop with lots of Navy stuff....but at 6:00 they have a little ceremoney where the Moms, girlfriends or whoever is there representing a sailor, get up and say their name and their screen name from N4M , where they are from, who they are there supporting, where the sailor is going to go to A school at and where they may be stationed after A school......The Ramada Inn have a great spread of "bar food" and it was very good!   I just thought that the folks trying to attend the M&G should know that there is a "start" time...

im adding this note as well....make sure everyone feels a part of the event, even if not part of N4M..some moms aren't as outgoing as some of the rest of us..so rope em in lol

i know you all will have a great time..cant wait for the scoop and a lot of pics!  love ya all!
