Oh Kathy, I'm so sorry.  This is so disheartening ~ our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Please keep in touch and let us know of his recovery.

I posted this on our main site as well-

Ladies, let me say that if it wasn't for some wonderful and amazing people i have met thru this site, i dont think i would have gotten thru all of these weeks.  I am so happy for all of you as well as so proud of your children/spouses for their accomplishments HOOYAHHH.

Unfortunately my son has been in the RCU because he got a hernia 1/2 way through boot camp.  After meeting w/ the surgeon a few times, it was decided today, that surgery at this point, would not be the best thing for him, and could actually worsen the problem, so they are sending him home for the medical attention he needs, and then to get medical clearance if he would like to start over.  Ironically he will be home around the same time as PIR.  Thank you all for letting me be a part of this group.  It has been a true honor to be in the company of some very amazing ladies!

Do not worry about the meet and greet ladies..all is still a go for a great celebration!  The table division flags will still be done and I will ship them to the Ramada or ensure they get there.  Everything else is set.  There are about 120 people who have rsvp'd that includes their guests.  I know you will all have a great time together.  Wish I could have joined you,but i will be there in spirit and expect to see a lot of pics! HAVE FUN and give all those sailors HUGS!
