IF YOU WERE ATTENDING TONIGHT'S SEWING PARTY, IT WILL BE RESCHEDULED DUE TO SNOW AND SLICK ROADS.  In the meantime, sew from home.  Sewing Tip of the Day: This is not a NEW tip, but after the time I wasted....change the needle on your machine. Even if it still feels sharp - if it's sticking it's probably time to replace.

Super, Jtm.  Have you friended up with Pat L yet?  She's got a sewing party going on for Christmas already, but between the 3 of us, we can help you get those pillow cases.  We need to use 1 yard of 44-45" fabric, you just hem it deeper than normal hem (look at a twin pillow case)--and you can actually just then fold it, sew it in an "L" shapre form.  We like fun, funky fabrics that are soft to sleep on.

I live in northern Illinois, but I can sew and I have fabric.  What are you looking for?
