Event Description

Hello NYC members. We received a call today from NAVINFOEAST (English translation... PR team for the NY area) with a great opportunity.

There is a ship coming into the NYC harbor from the 8-12 of this month. The ship is a DDG, USS Carney, it will be open to the public for tours on the 9th and 10th. But... because the Navy is so proud of it's N4M members, they're offering a special, private tour just for you!

It's on pier 90 near 52nd Street and West Side Highway.

Saturday 12 September at 10:00a.m. the ship will open it's doors and welcome you.

Are you available for the tour? If you are, pls let me know so we can give the ship an idea of how many folks to expect.

Send me an email as soon as you check your calendars. Hope you can attend. I'm sure the tour will be great. I'd also expect that the CO/XO will be available to answer questions for you.

I posted a link to the ships tour site
Take pics, I'd love to see them
