Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Event Description

Sandy H and Hikermom are inviting everyone to a MeetnEat July 28th at Tony & Alba's. Please bring your husbands, children and Grandchildren for a lunch event . Share your pictures, and news about your Sailor & Family. This restaurant has been voted "the Best Italian Restaurant in Silcone Valley" again this year. The menu is very reasonable with a lot of lunch specials. Please RSVP so we know how many will be attending. Looking forward to seeing everyone! Navy hugs..

Sorry I missed the MNG. It is good to get them going. Will have to see if I can make it to the next one. Glad everyone had a great time.

Our Sailor just got married on 15 Jul 2015. It was a wonderful wedding and we are so happy for them both. A new beginning.

I keep watching the Celine Dion Surprises the Canadian Tenors and Sings Hallelujah With Them by YouTube

video and music. Every time I watch it I get goose bumps and watery eyes. The sound of their voices and the words just penetrates into my body. Very impressive. Needless to say, Celine has a voice like no other. Barbara Streisand comes close.

Our Blue Candle is on for All Our Sailors, Family and Friends.

Buildasign.com offer welcome home banners and signs free to military families when our troop return home. I ordered a banner for my sailor when she returned from deployment it was awesome.

Thank you Sandy and Hikermom for putting the MGnE together. Great food and fellowship. It is always nice to talk to other Navy parents we never get tired of hearing about our Sailors and the connection between us is awesome. My mom and sister had a wonderful time they are still taking about our visit and the food was grand!I missed those who were not able to make it. Hopefully next time. Love to you all and your sailors.

Christine, so sorry to hear about your wrist, you were missed. We had a nice time, Bunker QB, JK attended and she brought her Mom, Husband  & sister, Ramona brought her Granddaughter, and better late then never Pam, (joyful Mom) came with her grandson Charley, my husband attended and we also brought our Grandsons, Frankie and Jake. I hope you heal quickly and feel better soon, Marie ( Hikermom) couldn't attend due to her father's ill health, Marie you were missed, I will keep  you and  your family in our prayers.
