I am OK with going to June 16. Kathy, Lori and Jackie - what about you gals?
not sure I can make it. my youngest coming home from college for the weekend...even though I thought he would be home next week!
We will be out of town on Mother's day and we are hosting it so that will not work. I am fine with rescheduling it as my husband leaves on the red eye flight to Florida that night to begin his cross country jaunt with sailor son. Son thought he would check out on Friday but they will not be ready until Monday.
The only day that works for us to reschedule is June 16. June 17 is Fathers day.
As mothers (and dads) whose Navy kids are likely out of town (Ours is in Japan.), Mothers Day might not be all that bad. Just a thought.
I do not mind rescheduling but I am in Italy from May 19th- June 5. I can not hold it on May 12 as I have a family first communion. I leave to go back to mexico on June 29. That leaves the weekends of 16th as the weekend of the 23rd is our anniversary.
Do you all think we should reschedule? It looks like more want to come but it's an overscheduled weekend. We know the next weekend May 13 is mother's day.
I haven't been online much due to work and my father has cancer. I do live in Alameda so it's not far of a drive to Livermore so I will hopefully be able to attend.
Thanks so much for the invite but its to far for me to go : (
Good news Michael is no longer going to be with the Marines as of May he will be in Bremerton, Washington .. YAY !!!!! He and Lilia got married last March in North Carolina before his 10 1/2 month deployment and just a few weeks ago they had a beautiful ceremony for friends and family at the Monterey Museum of Art...
Thanks again I will go when they are a little closer to me.. Have Fun !
Marsha
Haven't been in touch for months. Really miss everyone! Life is so complicated these days. I would love to come but number two child will be graduating from college and getting Commissioned into the USN Navy Nurse Corps that weekend. Not Barbados, just Chicago! Hope to catch you all over the summer. Thanks for organizing this and keeping it going.
