DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

I am volunteering for the Delta Century that day. (600 bicycle riders, and I'm in charge of parking.)

The link for the potluck is edited to show the correct date of May 6.  My allergies are in overdrive and the allergy medicine makes me loopy.

Still waiting on sons hard copy orders.  His entire IT class and a previous class are waiting in Pensacola.  He graduated from C school on 4/13 and was expecting to have his orders by grad and be able to come home for two weeks.  Now they have been told when their hard copy comes in,  it will take 10 additional days to fund and process it.  They can not leave Pensacola until they  transfer over to their next duty station.  He is rather frustrated ( as are we)  but doing lots of cleaning and playing ultimate frisbee with his class mates.

His original orders to the Reagan were cancelled and now his orders are to Norfolk and the Bush.  a bunch of hard copy orders came in differently than their pick so who knows at this point where he will end up.

We have a two week trip planned to Italy. We leave  May 19.  given our life of kid conflicts,  I am guessing that will be the exact two weeks that  he can come home.  Luckily,  I have frequent flyer miles to burn and I will visit him wherever he ends up.
