Event Description

Come one, come all!! Moms from the north and from the south... let's meet in downtown Seattle at my office for a meet and greet and packing party!!

Saturday, January 15th...  from 10 AM to 3 PM or later!!  We can share pictures and stories of our sailors, get to know one another, order lunch and pack boxes for the Molly's adopt a sailor project.  When you get here call and I will let you into the parking garage.

This month our own Nancy is the mom of the month.  The adoptee group is the HSM 77 Saberhawks.  This squadron is currently deployed with the USS Lincoln strike group and spread between five ships.

They have requested water bottles and we want to stuff them full!!  Bring along notes you write or gather from kids at school, neighbors, friends and family.  The theme is Mardi Gras so small items such as toys, candy, beads, granola bars, drink mixes...  or toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, chapstick, lotion...  are great!!

The water bottles measure eight inches tall and the mouth is two inches at the widest point.

Nancy - Kym and I have not connected, but I sent her a friend request and message. If anybody else is up north, I'm coming from North Everett and still have room in my car. Just let me know if you want a ride.

Kym and Andrea, did you two ever connect to get some ride share info? I would hate to think someone missed out. Just me, the last minute worrier. This is going to be so much fun.

Don't forget to bring picture of your sailor so the can be included in any pictures that will be taking place. I am just giddy with excitement....now, add some interesting drugs from my surgery and i am just a little bit of a whack job. I stopped texting people. seems I was to incoherent to be doing that right now. I will be doing okay on Saturday. Just want everyone to know we are going to have lots of fun and good memories for us all!

SusanG......I sent you a friend request.  :-)

I made some purchases at Costco today for bottles/boxes.  Will try to pick up some "fun" stuff at a party store this week.  :-)  Looking forward to Saturday!

SusanG, I live in Puyallup! Small world. I tend to pack things for adoptee boxes that my son loves snacks first and then I go to the basic needs. I have never in 2 years ever heard, gee, I didn't really need/like/want, all that we ever get back are enthusiastic thankyou notes for all we do. It just makes a body feel good to know in some small way I made someone's day a little brighter.
