Good Morning, Ladies.
I just wanted to say that I found on another thread that form letters typically come on the Thursday following the recruit's arrival. So, for a lot of us, we might get that form letter tomorrow. Or at least we can hope. I am going to try to go into today with a good, positive attitude, and hopefully I'll be blessed with some information!! Have a great day, everyone!

(after re-reading what i just wrote, i'm starting to wonder if maybe things are getting a little easier... or maybe this is just one of the high parts of the horrible mood swings that have been following me for the last week!!!)
I am hoping so too. Anything would suffice me right now. If I dont hear from his recruiter today Im gonna go down there and have a little "heart to heart" with him. I really dont think that he wants to deal with me. =) I have had more patience this last week then I was given for life and now I just need a little piece of mind. I know exactly what you mean about the mood swings and I do think that it is getting a little easier. Ill let you know if I find out anything.
Hi Ladies,
Well believe it or not I actually got a hold of the recruiter! He was on vacation and just got back to the office. What ever happened to telling us this info and giving us an alternate person to contact. He started telling me how it could take two weeks to hear anything, so I kept pushing so he looked up Adams name and could not find anything. I told him that others were getting info that had gone in at the same time he just kept saying how they are busy processing and didn't know why others were getting their info. He said they are not allowed to call the boot camp ??? Then when I kept pushing he finnaly said he would make a few calls and see what he can find out. Then I asked him if I could have the new address of the Office he said oh we are back at the same place that it was a temp move
he forgot to change the message on the phone. Ok take a breath........So that is where I am at for now still in limbo. If I hear anything I will let you know as well . Blessings to all Janeen
Shannon, My son (Kyle) arrived at Great Lakes on Wednesday the 16th. I got his form letter yesterday and his box today. My son (Casey) arrived at Great Lakes on Thursday the 17th. I got his box yesterday and have not received his form letter yet. I really don't think there is any rhyme or reason to when you receive anything! I think it all depends on the mail delivery.
Nancy, There is no rhyme or reason apparently, I got the box Monday and still no letter or info Adam got there the night of the 17th. Shawa, Adams clothes are still not washed either Sigh............
Hi Beth,
Maybe our girls are there together! Heather arrived in GL on the 22nd as well. We have letters waiting too.

Heather will be a CTT, what will your daughter be doing?

Hugs, we're all in this together!
Cat
WAHOOOOO!!!! I received his address!!!! After grilling his head recruiter, he got back to me saying he still couldn't find anything out, that someone up in Great Lakes "dropped the ball".... then about an hour later, he called with his address!!!! I am absolutely on top of the world! I mailed out the 5 letters that I have been saving up and can't wait to send another tomorrow....
Janeen, I am soooo sorry that you still haven't gotten anything out of the recruiter... Believe me, I know how heartbreaking it is.... I am keeping you at the top of my prayer list... it just isn't fair.
I still haven't received his box yet, but I'm ok with that, now that I have the address. He is in Ship 10, Div 339. Anyone else????
That is awesome!! I am so glad that you got it! I was hoping my son and your hubby were on the same ship and Div...but oh well maybe we'll get to meet at PIR...I am soooo happy for you... Janeen I am still praying for you and you are in my thoughts.... Smiles, Christy
I am about 99% sure that our husbands are in the same ship and division. I know for sure he is in ship 10 im just not quite sure about the divison. I know that they called at the exact same time on the same day but im not 100% positive. I hope so that would be really cool.
Janeen,
My son Jim was scheduled to leave 1:00 July 18, but because of some screw up didnt end up leaving till Sunday. Which was tortuious for him and heaven for his mom to have extra time! But Im sure he and Adam are there together! Lets keep in touch and keep each other posted... if I here anything and likewise... if youd like!?
Have you washed the dirty laundry he left yet? I cant bring myself to...

Hi Tia,
Yes I would love to keep in touch, talking to all you wonderful moms is my life line and I am looking forward to finding out who is with who! Being a daycare provider I don't get a lot of contact with others, So this has been a blessing I just wish there was a way we all could chat easier. If I hear anything I will get on here as fast as I can. No I havent washed all his stuff yet . Its still in the box.....
