mruland we live in Central Pennsylvania, I called my mom and appologized to her for what I know I put her through now! my son is the youngest of three, my daughter came home from school this past weekend to be with us. I know once we get the letters is and can write it will be a little easier. Chris

I live in Buffalo which isn't to far.  I'm just eager for anything at this point.
I did just get her address from her recruiter.  She is on Ship 7 DIV 174.  Anybody else get that info yet?  No PIR date yet.  Her recruiter said he would have it in 3-5 days.  Now I can send her letters!  Made my day!!!

I received my daughters address today from her recruiter she is on Ship 7 Division 174, anyone else with a loved one in the same division?

Mruland my dtr is in the same division.  I haven't received anything as of yet.  Anxiously awaiting!  I am in Buffalo, NY so expect it should be arriving shortly!  How exciting that our little girls are together!!!  I'm in the same boat as you are.  I am missing my dtr horribly!  We are extremely close and this is just killing me!  I am so proud of her and cheering her on on the outside, but my inside is pretty torn up.  Let's hope these next 7-8 weeks fly by!

our SR's are in the same. I have a group started for Ship 7, Div 174.

i got my call from my son Friday morning March 25, around 2am saying he was there and safe.....anyone else have a son/daughter in that group?  Anyone else's son training to be a Navy Seal?  I can't wait to get his Ship/Div so I can start planning to go to his graduation.   I can't stop crying.....hope it gets better, my heart is breaking.  Just cleaned up his room tonight.
Kimluvsyou - It will get better, once you start getting your letters and they get to make that next phone call. You are brave I haven't even touched my kids room yet, although his sister came home from college this past weekend and slept in there. She took one of his shirts back to school with her.

Hello,

I realize this post is after the fact, I am new to this site and was very hesitant to reply to any post. My son shipped out on 3/22/11, he is at the Great Lakes Command and I have already got his graduation date. I am super excited and so very proud of him. I have received 2 calls and got his belongings back. I cant wait until his graduation, I have wrote him every night and to my own surprise have not cried since he has shipped out. I did all my crying before he left. I cried so much on the 12th that I really honestly don't think I have any tears left. Good Luck to your Daughter.
