While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

A-School Class 1152T
Good Morning All,
I thought I would start a discussion group for my son's A-school Class 1152T. The class started on Monday, Oct. 3rd.
I am going for a visit this weekend and will give an update........I am so excited to spend time with my son and very excited to see the city as this will be my first time to Charleston, SC. I'm staying at Hampton Inn - North Charleston. Anyone stayed there before? South Living recommends Hyman's Restaurant and Palmetto Carriage Tours; hoping to try them both :-)

i know it is early and dont exactly know for sure when they graduate,but i was wondering if anyone here is going to A school graduation? im not going and was hoping someone could get a picture of my son

Good Morning Ladies,
I just returned from a quick weekend visit with my sailor. We stayed at the Foster Creek Villas for the first time and we were pleased. Very simple, but clean and I enjoyed being able to cook for him. We went to see "Act of Valor" with some other sailors.....very emotional for me! When the sub came up, I lost it! We also went to a concert at the Performing Arts Center which was alot of fun. We did some shopping, etc. It rained the entire day on Saturday! Crazy weather!
He said the last test was the hardest test he had ever taken and that the one on Thursday will be almost as hard. I'm counting down the test, only 3 more and then comps. I can't wait to attend his graduation on Friday, March 30th. He says there are only 27 sailors in his group now since they split the MM's and ET's.
Evi, I'm sure your plate is full! I look forward to meeting you in a few weeks.
Is anyone else going to the graduation service?

A School Class 1152T - I'm sending out prayers for our sailor's test tomorrow. My sailor shared that this would be the second hardest test they will take in A school. He did pass the last one, but his score wasn't what he desired....one of his lowest score. Only three more test and then comps! We know they can do this!!!!! Counting down to March 30th!
