Hi, my son is on Ship 4, Div 812....received the form letter today...he said he hadnt slept for 3 day and was really tired and sore from shots and bloodwork but still seemed in good spirits.
Hello. My son is also on Ship 4, Div 812. Thank you for the information regarding liberty after graduation I tried to respond back via e-mail but it was returned. I spoke with my son Thursday evening and he said all is well, he is very happy with his division and they are really pushing themselves to be the best they can be. I am soooo proud of all of them. They seem to truly be working as a team.
Yes - I got a letter today too. I am so glad to hear he is doing ok.
Hi moms, just wondering if u have heard anything from your boys, nothing since the form letter here.:( I'm not sure what the meaning of Ship and Div are, any of your boys with a SEAL contract. Praying they will give them a break and let them phone home for Easter!!!!
Hello Kimberly and Cindy my name is Carrie and I started this forum. I seen someone by name Nan on another forum that has a son in our division. Today I wrote my son another letter. His girlfriend recieved a letter and said that he liked it the food was pretty good. He did say he was tired in both hers and mine. He told her he was , section leader but can always chage. I just told him to get to know people, work hard. I miss him like crazy we all do....
Hello Kimberlyr,
Yes, My son is ship 04 Div 812 and has a Search and Rescue contract. I am so hoping that we all get a phone call!!! Tomorrow without either of my children will be hard. My daughter husband is a submariner stationed in Pearl Harbor. Wonderful place to visit but definitely make the visits few and far between. Now for my son to be starting out, easy to feel sad when you know how little you will see them. Although , I do know how lucky we are and I am so proud of their accomplishments Take care and happy Easter. ;-)
Steph
Hi all -Just check the mail and no letter. Darn! I am praying he will call tomorrow. Maybe they will let them because of Easter. I wasn't sure if I was going to cook anything special for Easter but then decided to at the last minute. It is so quiet around here, my daughter who is 17 is so busy and not home much. Have a nice Easter :)
I know there has to be more of us out there. I want to here from all recruit families. HAPPY EASTER TO ALL YOU...I MISS MY SON LIKE CRAZY!!!! I'm sure we all miss them.
dito
Hi Moms, I started a group 'Ship 04 Div 812'. Once we all join the group we can add friends if you see anyone else with the same ship and division. Looking forward to getting to know everyone on a more personal level...it sure is tough being strong through all of this but having each other helps....and hey...we have more than a week behind us!!!
Hello Ladies,
Has anyone heard from your sons other than the infomation letter. I was sooooo hoping they would be allowed to call home for Easter. I hope they are at least getting rest at night. I am sure their days are pretty tough. If anyone hears anything please let me know. You and your sons are in my prayers as well as we go thru this journey together. Hooyah!!!! Ship 04 Div 812!!!!
Steph Csmom
Hi Ladies, I talked to my son and he sounded good but he changed divisions so now I hope to find someone in that division. Please keep me posted on how everyone does. It was so great to hear from him even if it was just a min.
