DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hi New2Navy21 - you definitely want to head over to the boot camp group where you'll find answers to most of your questions in the discussion section.

This link will give you some good info on preparing your SR to leave:

Things to do in the last month before leaving

Also, keep in mind they no longer send the box of their belongings home.  They keep them at GL and give them back to them when they graduate.

Awesome! I appreciate all the assistance from everyone. New to all this and apologize for questions. Have a great evening!

No need to apologize for questions. That is what this site is for, to answer them to the best of our abilities.

If you haven't already, be sure to also join the BC Moms group - B'sNuke Mom should have posted the link to it in her welcome on your profile page. Even if your daughter is not ready to leave yet, it will be good for you to join the group and hear what others are saying and glean the information that we post there.

Good Morning,

No worries and no need to apologize this is what we do.   :)

Have a great day!!
