Have you gotten your form letter with his PIR date? Join the PIR group ASAP it will be your lifeline for info and support. If you can't find it let me know.
Hi. I've only received the box so far. His recruiter was very nice but I'm not sure if I should try to get an address from him. I don't want to send his letters to the incorrect address so I guess I'll just have to wait;(. Thank you!
Oh yes...waiting is fine. You should be getting his address this week. YAY.!!!
Thanks!! I'm trying to change my user name.
Can't seem to get it
It looks like your PIR date will be 11/5..if you want to join the group and hang out till you get the definite date here is the link, just click on it http://www.navyformoms.com/group/pir1152010
Thanks;)
okay... I think you got your calculation date wrong...did you mean Nov 5th? If you want to, click on the link I left her...if it isn't your PIR group just leave it and join the right one. The groups have to be formed by a N4M and they don't get formed till you know your PIR date. That group was formed by a N4M whose son left with the St Louis Cardinal division ...they left the end of Aug first of Sept and they were told when their PIR was. Now your PIR may be 11/12...won't know for sure till you get your form letter. You should be able to get his address from the recruiter 72 hours after he left.
yes...he'll be in a division that is a 800 division...for special ops, seals, etc. I don't think there is a boot camp group for buds...but will find out.

Yes, the first week or so is processing so doesn't count towards boot camp days
it will come to the address he puts on the box
2ndmomtohim...here is a group http://www.navyformoms.com/group/prebudsmomss
Hi Jmarie, my son left the same date as well, it has been so hard, isn't it?. It seems some days (almost every day) very hard and like a piece of my heart is gonne. Do you feel the same??.
Absolutely. Missing him so much. This is the longest we have everyone without talking;(. I m hoping to hear this week from him and get the form letter so I can send my letters to him! Try to keep strong and come here to N4M for encouragement.
Maybe our sons will graduate the same day???
