My son left for BC on the 9th and I received his box on the 16th I hope that helps!!

yes it does thank you! I still didnt receive it today. but now that i see it took you a while it may be the case with me.

My son left on 6/15 and arrived really late that night...I got the "I'm here" call at 1:30a. Anyways...I received the box on Thursday, 6/18. We live in Texas.

Got the box today finally! brought tears just to see his name on the outside!

My son left on 6/16 and I received 'the box' today.  I just kept staring at it and turning it all around, looking at my sons' handwriting.    When will the letter come with his address on it, so we can mail him his letters?  Does anyone know?

I think I read about 7 to 10 days from the day you receive the box. I will let you know when I receive mine.
Yay! Glad you received it. Hopefully it won't be too much longer until we receive letters and maybe a call.

I kept looking at it also and hoping I found a note or something in it. But my husband said they are on a timeline so he probably couldnt or was so nervous wanting to do whatever they wanted of him he just did whatever they said. I watched the bootcamp video and it really made me feel alot better. if you havent seen it watch it. you'll see what they go through when they arrive and where they sleep. Yes! Now to wait for the letter. Im praying for all your SR's. praying this for all of our SR's  Philippians 4:13-"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me".

Lovemyson...thank you for the prayers. I have watched the video...it helps. Have you seen the RTC FB page? They post random pictures...I think every week. Haven't seen my son yet, but really cool to see all the SR's. I will keep you all posted when I receive the letter. Can't wait to send and receive some news and hear how things are going.

KK-yes and I will also! which hotel did you book? if you dont mind me asking?

lovemyson...just sent you an invite to my page so we can send messages, if needed. I actually booked a hotel for both 8/7 and 8/14 weekends....thinking that he will probably have PIR on 8/14 though, but 8/7 was already hard to find open rooms with the graduation rate, so I thought better be safe then sorry. Both at different Residence Inns Marriott, one in Lake Forrest And the other in Waukegan

My son accidently left his social security card in his jean pocket...in case he needs it I've got it with a letter to mail back to him.  I've watched the boot camp video several times, and it does really help to get a visual on everything.  Still anxiously awaiting on the letter...

I love that verse in Philippians...it is one of my favorites.  I'm praying for all too, as well as the families.~~Linda
