CRFDad.  My son left 3/29 as well and I got his info today from our recruiter.  He is 11/180.

WOO-HOO laurelbc I just added your numbers now you can send those letters!!!

gomarville;

Congrats on getting your numbers!!  I just updated the calendar with them!!

Now you can send your letters!!  WOO-HOO!!

Finally got proactive today and emailed the recruiter.  Once I found out that gomarville had her kid's ship/division I told him that I would get my son's if he told me who to contact.  I received an email back with his ship/division:  SHIP 2 DIVISION 928.  Does anyone know what DIV 928 is?  Someone on here mentioned that the 900 series is the performance division.  Is this still true?????  I really don't care what it means; just the fact that I have an address is exciting to me.  CMom;3/150 load me up on the calendar!!!!!!!!  HOOYAH!!!  I don't think I could be any more excited than I am right now even if I got a phone call from him!!!!  Thanks for everything you do to help us stay in touch with each other!!!!.

P.S.  If you need someone to start a 2/928 group just let me know how to do it (and what main group to put it under) and I will be glad to.

Thank you so much for the interesting information.  The only thing I don't understand is that they say they train on ship 06; he is in ship 2.  I wonder if that makes a difference?

At this point I'm proud for WHATEVER he accomplishes during boot camp.  Just the fact that he's still there is somewhat surprising to me!!!!

Again, thank you for sharing this information.  It is very much appreciated!

Congratulations for also having someone in boot camp!  It's going to be a LONG 8 weeks!

HOOYAH Proud NaVy Mom!!  I just added your numbers!!

You might ask Jessicia B about starting the group - she might know if there is one started or not -

to start a group just go to the group page and click on the + on the right hand top to add - then name it something like PIR (insert date) then in the discussions you can put his ship and division - that way you can chat with others that will PIR on that date and discuss division things within the division!!  I am so happy for you!!

LOOK OUT MAIL MAN - LETTERS BEING SENT TOMORROW!!!  and the next day and the next day and the next.....

Good Morning CMOM and all March Moms.  My son's recruiter provided info.  My SR is 11/180.  Thanks for keeping this encouraging discussion going.

Congratulations laurelbc on getting a ship/division for your son!  It seems by just getting that information a weight was lifted from my shoulders.  I know it makes no sense but that's just the way I feel.  It's almost like I know for a fact that he's really there and didn't sneak off the training center grounds when the going got tough! LOL

Hope you get to hear something from him soon!

I got his ship/div info finally Ship 7 Div 177

HOOYAH for you too Malachai's Mom!!

I just added your numbers!!!   Your mailman just got busier too!!  Send those letters!!!  and Keep sending them!!!

Thank you:Proud NaVy Mom.  I just ordered the Proud Mom of a Sailor license plate holder last night.  I know what you mean about the weight lifted.  I am glad to know he's officially moving toward PIR.  I hear from JessicaB that 5/27 may be the graduation date.  That would be awesome!

Everyone whose division is 178 and higher, 812 and 928---your PIR date is most likely 5/27 -unless the RTC skips a week

SOMEONE needs to form the PIR group...go to groups and click on +ADD then name the group a simple name  PIR 5/27/2011 is good....then click on ADD or SAVE
