It would seem from what I couldn't find anywhere....  He's in this ship/division all alone?  lol.

Recruiter did not know his PIR date yet.  Kyle left on the 4th.  I'm thrilled to have his address, but, I'm worried it might not be correct...  Anyone else out there in the same "boat" (please excuse the pun) :)

Hi kkbmom,  My daughter left on the 4th also.  Still no info on Ship or Div.  I haven't gotten "the letter" yet.  I have decided to wait until I see it on paper before I send anything, since other navymoms said sometimes the recruiters make a mistake and then their mail can be lost for a while, so I figured that I would wait.  I just know, lol, that it will be here this week:)  I hope the navy agrees.

You are not alone...My son is Ship3 Div 354...... Hello!! My recruiter gave me the info... I'm so happy because I thought I was alone.... Yippee!!!!!

Yay!  We're ship(mom)mates.  Looking forward to keeping in touch. =)

Join the group, PIR 11/02/2012 TG 51 (clickable link), to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR.  Know that divisions 353 and 354 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so watch for others with loved ones in either division.  Since you received the address from the recruiter, be sure to go to http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/contact_recruit.asp and double-check the address since some recruiters give a generic address for the RTC and if the street address is not correct, it can delay mail to your recruit for up to 3 weeks.

Hi lemonelephant!  I'm pretty new here still, and you've already given me so much great advice and reassurance...thank you!  Now, here's my first official question:  Just received my form letter with ship/division info., but the four digit zip code ending is different on the portion my son hand wrote than that found in the link you provided to double check that information.  He is on Ship 3 Division 354 and the zip ending he wrote is for Ship 4...oh dear, do you think he may have made a mistake?

Don't worry about the +4.  You can use the numbers he indicated or those on the RTC site.  The Ship and Division numbers and street address are the most important (and of course SR Last Name, First Name MI).  We have seen the +4 be reversed for those 2 ships before and letters arrived to the recruits.

Many thanks....skipping to the post office tomorrow. =)

:o)

Oh good!! Durrich, Ive been looking for you and I didn't even know it! I'm just thrilled to know my son isn't in a division of ONE!! lol. :) I checked the address with the link that lemonelephant left on here and it matched. So, I mailed a couple of letters. I'm going to get some pictures together and send some today. Glad I found ya!! :)
Thank-you Lemonelephant!!! I went to the site and the address matched!! I will follow your link! :) Have a great Thursday!

You are very welcome.

taylordays, it's kindof silly how much i'm looking forward to seeing his terrible handwriting!! :) I think we're moving past the sad, and are on to the proud, I wish wish wish I could just hear that he is doing well, and that it's everything he had hoped! Sending good strong thoughts and vibes to all of our kids!
